Covid-19 Safety Measures


The Aesthetic Complications Expert Group has produced guidelines for dermal filler treatment in relation to the COVID-19 vaccination. It is recommended to not have dermal filler treatment either 3 weeks before or 3 weeks after the COVID-19 vaccination. Although there are only a very small number of cases there is a risk of inflammatory reactions and soft tissue swellings in patients who have had fillers, or plan to have treatment, after receiving the vaccination. There is no evidence that the COVID-19 vaccination or infection has a detrimental effect on other aesthetic procedures. However, as patients may become unwell and experience flu-like symptoms following the vaccination, the ACE group recommends avoiding other aesthetic treatments for 1-week post vaccine. We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and we have implemented the Save Face Covid-19 Operational Protocols. 

Before Appointment

  • Please reschedule your appointment if you have been exposed to anyone with suspected COVID-19 in the last 14 days or have any COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of/change to your sense of smell or taste).

  • Please arrive make-up free with hair tied back. 

Attending Appointment


  • Please attend your appointment alone.


  • Please wear your mask at the clinic.


  • Please arrive for your appointment on time to minimise cross over with our patients. We will not be able to accommodate late arrivals and will regrettably have to reschedule your appointment. 

  • ​Please use the provided hand sanitiser on entering the waiting room.

  • Please keep at a 2m distance from other patients and staff in the waiting room.


  • Toilet facilities are available to use in the main Tradeplas Building.

During Treatment


  • Dr Jessica Prior will be wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and following Government guidance to don, doff and dispose of it correctly.  

After Treatment


  • Cash and card payments are accepted. 


  • We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance before, during and in-between appointments. 


  • All appointments are extended to allow for less cross over – please leave promptly to avoid the person before and after you.​
